Just paging VDH Customs here for French Friday! As I’m packing up my end of the deal: Do you want the HY regular or Pompiers?
Yeah I know, Le Mans is coming... But I still have to show you all this one. Although I think someone beat me to it. I mentioned it showing the DS23 as well so here it goes...
I know, I missed French Friday last week. Sorry. Then again, I added a ‘Murica Monday so... And it’s not often I miss it. So...
Last week I showed the amazing 356 VDH Customs sent me. This week I’ll show another one of his gems: a 964.
Recently I got my Tomica G. The Gelände. And it’s nice to see the difference with how a SUV has evolved when you put a more recent one next to it. I don’t have MLs or something so I’m gettin out one of the few 1/64 SUVs I have: Minichamps Porsche Cayenne GTS.
It had a little cameo last week, this Citroën DS23. Last week’s was the DS19, this one has the bigger engine and the bigger headlights. As in 1967, with the 2nd nose redesign, it’s light clusters grew significantly.
Wait, is it Tuesday again already? Darned! Got me some Norevs as I’ve shown last Friday and one of ‘m was the amazing Mercedes Benz 300 SL W198.
It’s Norev’s new 3-inch Renault Megane RS! It’s absolutely stunning for the scale, with great detail in the (painted) lights, and a lovely metallic orange colour (Orange Tonic). Only the wheels aren’t great, as the spokes are pretty thin so probably hard to paint. I’ll take some better shots at a later moment, but I…
As the weather in Italy was sooooo terrible this week we decided to return early and enjoy the weather at home a bit as the weather here is amazing. This weekend we’ll hit 25 degrees and that is, for the time of the year, pretty good. No time for a shoot due to the transit though so enjoy a regular visitor at LaLD’s,…
Another 3 inch Norev. I initially planned this one for the Tour de France last year. As Berger sirops used these as promotional vehicles in the Tour de France from 1969.
Hey, that’s today! :D I hope you are having a great weekend. Here are a couple of trucks. I had to get the Landy out for a test drive.
Kyosho has sucked me in (I blame eBay). I’ve been veeeery bad, but it feels sooo good:) Let’s begin.
Snow White... He’s been from Miami to Los Angeles and back, and now I’ve finally put the finishing touches on him (exhaust:D) I’ve shared a lot of pics with this 934.5, I hope I haven’t bored anyone. I’ve finished this GT3 RS, as well. It may be time for a new piece of traveling diecast for my upcoming voyage across…
Christmas was early this year! I just received a package from Santa, all the way from Lapland California. The contents were way beyond I could comprehend so it will take me a while to cover it all. One thing in there instantly made my heartbeat rise over 100bpm: Citroën’s BX 4TC.
After being active here for a few years now you get into the situation many models have passed already, even when you’re doing mainly French/German cars. It’s not that I can’t show new models but the Renault Clio V6 I’ve shown before.
This is another one from Fintail’s mega sale a little while ago. It always was somewhat of forbidden fruit for me. In Europe there’s somewhat a struggle as in other parts of the world. In the US it’s you’re either a GM or a Ford guy. In Australia you’re either a Ford or a Holden dude. In my country it was Volkswagen…
Les 2CV de Cochonou. A manufacturer of Sausages. That’s what Cochonou was. And they made a few 2CVs for publicity, a few ended up being used at the Tour de France.
Still an issue with my lights in the lightbox so no lengthy post today. Just trying to figure out how to shoot with the light of my iPhone.
Finding my self in some serious time issues AND my lightbox starts to failing on me (the lights that is so these are all shot with some construction lamp and my iPhone for extra lightsources) so this is just a small post. Luckily on a car Amoore100 already did an excellent write up on, the last gen Renault Twingo.
New - to me - release by Norev: the R4L in Gendarmerie outfit. And all I can see when I watch any R4 nowadays is that it is so obvious where Le Regie looked at when they designed the R4: Japan.
